Steps to overcome barriers
At this point there are only two parties responsible for overcoming communication barriers:
- the sender
- the receiver
The sender
- The message should be brief
- Must have the correct body language
- Choose appropriate medium
- Dont let your mood disrupt your message
The receiver
- You must give feedback to show you understand
- You must ask questions when you dont understand
- Pay attention to the message
- Must have trust with the sender to not misinterpret the message
